August 2015

We started out the month visiting Aunt Meggie, Uncle Andrew and cousin D.
The drive there was eventful. The wild fires kept us in Boise for one night, but we made it.

We had a yummy lunch on the pier.

We took the kids to the beach.
Lyla loves the sand. She also spent time walking up and down the beach collecting shells.

Buddy loved the water! He kept running back and forth to get hit by the waves.

Later that week we went to the best zoo ever!
There were tons of animals everywhere.

We loved the goats! They followed us everywhere.

The kids got to pet and hold a baby Linx.
Lyla said it was like a big kitty.

we also got to pet a baby tiger.
He liked his belly to be rubbed.

There were Lamas everywhere.

We also got to pet a baby brown bear.

Lyla's favorite was a Possum named Peaches.

Tavis was being attacked by all of the goats and sheep.

We also went to the Sea Lion caves.
It was fishing season so they were out eating fish.

On one of our drives we found our own private beach.
We had so much fun collecting shells and running around.
We all can't wait to go back to our little beach soon.

I pod pictures....

Stopped at a park on the way to Meggie's.

Naps in the car.

Breakfast!!!!

Lego time!

D' was baptized and confirmed on Saturday while we were there.
We are all so proud of him.

More pictures of the fun at the beach.

Aunt Meegie and Uncle Andrew became foster parents to a little girl while we were there.
She was only a few days old when they brought her home.
They are both such wonderful examples of Christ like love.
They brought this little girl into there home knowing that they might lose her, but are willing to help her as much as they can and for as long as they can.

These two are always waking me up early.

Another one of Peaches.

We also went to all of D's favorite parks.

Facials for Daddy

We went the the fair a couple of times and had so much fun with the animals and eating food.

Dinner the night before school started.

Lagoon Day for my parents work day.
It was hot, lots of people and long lines, but we still had fun.
Lyla loved the rides and Travis loved running through the water.

July 2015

We love swimming in the backyard!
Buddy usually goes from the water to the sandbox and back.

She is the cutest thing ever!!!

Lyla had two more weeks of swimming lessons.
She did amazing and had so much fun!

During swimming lessons Buddy ate snacks and read mickey mouse books.

His scar is looking better.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Buddy was sad that he couldn't jump in the bounce house. :-(

Lyla had fun jumping.

Watching the Parade in Rupert ID.
Before it started 2 jets flew over and did a couple of tricks.
Both of the kids got tons of candy.
The pretty girls on horses and the old trackers were are favorite.

First RODEO for these three.
We all loved it and are exited for Lyla to ride a sheep next year.

Travis had a follow up Dr. appointment in SL and so my Mom took Lyla to the Zoo.

Then the next week he had another Dr appointment in SL.
Sleeping on the way down.

Ice cream on the swing.

Driving home.

Travis has been given a clean bill of health.
No long-term issues and no more Dr appointments.
I feel so blessed that everything turned out so well after his accident.
Heavenly Father has given us a miracle.

Our garden is getting big...

My future Missionary!!!

Lyla went to the Dentist for the 1st time.
She loved it and did an amazing job.
Her teeth are good...except for the one tooth she doesn't have, which means braces are in her future.
As we left she looked at me and said, "Mom, that was so much fun."

I looked over at Lyla and she said, "Mom, I'm doing research."

We had a crazy rain/hail storm which made a swimming pool of our street, sidewalk and driveway.
Buddy LOVED IT!!!!

Lyla counted down her birthday forever!!!
Weeks!!!
We made her cupcakes the day before.

Birthday GIRL!!!!

My birthday girl!!

Lyla had such a fun birthday!
With lots of presents and pizza for dinner.

Travis always finds a puddle to play in...and sit in.

The last weekend in July we went to visit the Lindstrom Grandparents in Boise.

The kids had so much fun seeing the animals.

Took Trav shopping...he likes hats!

On our way home from Boise our car stopped working.
We ended up waiting on the side of the road for an hour for a tow truck.
My friend Nancy and her husband came to Twin  Falls to pick us up.

Travis didn't seem to mind being stuck on the side of the  road....

I let this kid play in mud puddles and run everywhere, but he freaks out
because I wont let him climb on a picnic table.

I love how peaceful and sweet he is when he is sleeping.

July was a fun month.
Looking forward to our trip to Oregon, weekend at the cabin , Lyla starting school
and Lagoon in August.
