August 2015

We started out the month visiting Aunt Meggie, Uncle Andrew and cousin D.
The drive there was eventful. The wild fires kept us in Boise for one night, but we made it.

We had a yummy lunch on the pier.

We took the kids to the beach.
Lyla loves the sand. She also spent time walking up and down the beach collecting shells.

Buddy loved the water! He kept running back and forth to get hit by the waves.

Later that week we went to the best zoo ever!
There were tons of animals everywhere.

We loved the goats! They followed us everywhere.

The kids got to pet and hold a baby Linx.
Lyla said it was like a big kitty.

we also got to pet a baby tiger.
He liked his belly to be rubbed.

There were Lamas everywhere.

We also got to pet a baby brown bear.

Lyla's favorite was a Possum named Peaches.

Tavis was being attacked by all of the goats and sheep.

We also went to the Sea Lion caves.
It was fishing season so they were out eating fish.

On one of our drives we found our own private beach.
We had so much fun collecting shells and running around.
We all can't wait to go back to our little beach soon.

I pod pictures....

Stopped at a park on the way to Meggie's.

Naps in the car.

Breakfast!!!!

Lego time!

D' was baptized and confirmed on Saturday while we were there.
We are all so proud of him.

More pictures of the fun at the beach.

Aunt Meegie and Uncle Andrew became foster parents to a little girl while we were there.
She was only a few days old when they brought her home.
They are both such wonderful examples of Christ like love.
They brought this little girl into there home knowing that they might lose her, but are willing to help her as much as they can and for as long as they can.

These two are always waking me up early.

Another one of Peaches.

We also went to all of D's favorite parks.

Facials for Daddy

We went the the fair a couple of times and had so much fun with the animals and eating food.

Dinner the night before school started.

Lagoon Day for my parents work day.
It was hot, lots of people and long lines, but we still had fun.
Lyla loved the rides and Travis loved running through the water.
