Lyla turns 4 years old!!!
She was so excited about her birthday and had been talking about it all month.
The weekend before her birthday her Uncle Logan, Aunt Sara, Papa Ward and Grandma Ward came to have a pajama party with her.

Friday night we watched Nomeo and Juliet.

That night she slept in her new tent, in her new sleeping bag and had so much fun!

The next morning she opened her 1st present. Which was pajama's for her to wear for her party.

Buddy even got new jammies. He loves them because they have Mickey Mouse on them.

Next we decorated party hats.

Everyone with their finished hats! (Even Scott in the mirror)

Next on the party list we went to Lyla's favorite park.
She wanted to show everyone how much fun it is there.

How cute is he?

Lyla took Aunt Sara everywhere. They have so much fun together!

Present time!!!

Cute wall hanging of her favorite princesses from Aunt Sara and Uncle Logan!

Sofia color stuff and PLAY-Doh from Aunt Jen, Uncle Ty and Cousin Molly.

A cinderella PLAY-DOH, 10 more little colors of PLAY-DOH and a birthday sign from Grandma and Papa Ward.

Oh and 8 more things of PLAY-DOH from her parents!

So as you can guess we played with play-doh next.
Lyla also got a package in the mail from her Cousin D'. (We sure do miss seeing his face.)

Lyla decorated her own cake and cupcakes.
She put her favorite treats on them....gummy bears and worms.

After cake we had a pool party. Uncle Logan is the only one who got in with her.
The party turned into a water fight.

Lyla chasing her Dad with a cup of water....

when she caught up to him he got her.

We had so much fun celebrating Lyla's birthday.

On her actual birthday we had some of her friends over for a PAJAMA PARTY!

The kids loved the swing set!

Decorating their own cup cakes!

Watching 'Monsters University.'

All of her friends left to right:
Ella, Bristol, Emory, Zach, Zoxy, Kira, Becca, Quinn, Addie, Cater, Katie and Luke.

Lyla had so much fun with her friends.

Lyla also had another party a couple of day's later in Boise.
(I can't find any of my pictures) :(
The party was with Grandma Lindstrom, Papa Lindstrom and Aunt Jill.
When we asked Lyla what she wanted for dinner she said, "Meat and mashed potatoes."
An IDAHO girl!
We also had cake and ice cream!

I love my little Lyla so much!  She is wonderful, funny, full of imagination and super creative.
I still can't believe she is 4 years old!

July 2014

We celebrated the 4th of July in Utah.
First, we went to the West Jordan parade with my Mom.
Lyla loves picking up candy and seeing all of the pretty girls.

Later that day we drove to Orem to celebrate Great Grandpa Zobells' 90th Birthday.
Lyla calls him 'Great Papa' or sometimes she refers to him as 'Old Papa.'
It was nice seeing relatives we haven't seen in a long time.
Lyla had fun running around and playing with second cousins.

Back row: Aunt Jill, Uncle Jason, Papa Lindstrom, Grandma Lindstrom, Us
Front row: Uncle Houston, Aunt Lindsey and Grandpa with the kids

Whenever Travis' seeing Great Grandpa he reaches for his face.
It's so precious. I wish I could get a picture of it.

Swimming with Bella is always fun.

My Boys!

The kids and Boompa. We are so glad he came over for Sunday dinner so we could see him.

As a family we try to do something fun every Saturday, but this weekend Scott had a Young Men activity on Saturday so we went to dinner and a drive in movie in Twin Falls on Friday.

Lyla's last 'under 3 free meal.'

This cute kid has started freaking out if he sees me leave him.

We went to the store and got a whole bunch of candy to munch on.
The movie was 'How to Train Your Dragon 2.'
Lyla really liked the movie. We decided not to stay for the second movie because it was so late.

This girl love our flowers.

She also LOVES the garden. She wants to check on it everyday. She also wants to show anyone who come to her house all of the things she is growing.

Buddy watching us pull weeds.

On another Saturday we went to Lyla's favorite park in town.
We went early in the morning before it got too hot and before too many people showed up.

 Trav loves to swing!

She really likes going to the park and swing with her Dad.

Scott and I also celebrated our 7th Anniversary this month.
I love him so much. I am so glad we were sealed in the temple and that our family can be together forever!

The last part of June 2014

Lyla read a book from the library about Saturday being 'DAD-erday' so that's what she thinks Saturday is called. We always try to do something fun on our Dad days.

We drove to the Zoo in Pocatello this Saturday and Lyla loved it.
We lucked out and went on the day they were celebrating the 2 black bears birthdays and the 1 grizzly bears birthday.

Watching the black bears eat their birthday cakes.

Lyla liked this guy.

Waiting for the bird show.  They showed us an owl and a hawk.
We learned that all of the animals at this Zoo are rescues and are native to this area.

This bear is carved from a huge piece of wood.

We made birthday hats to wear for the bears' party and played some games.

Travis liked the goats.

Lyla loves animals and was so excited that she was able to get this close to the goats.

Happy Fathers Day!
My kids are so blessed to have such a fun, hardworking, amazing Dad!

New tent!

On a different 'Dad-erday' Scott surprised us and took us mini golfing.

Lyla loved it and thought it was fun because everything was glowing in the dark.

All smiles even though he didn't get to play.

It was so fun watching her push the ball into the hole.
She would get so excited when she made it in.
It was a really fun surprise.
Dad-erday is the best!

Playing in the pool!

He loves the water and will splash like crazy!

Lyla's caterpillar Tiggy turned into a butterfly.
She was so excited. We found him in our garden on a lettuce leaf so we let him go out there.
We have seen him a couple of times sense.

Our Stake did a dance festival and Lyla preformed with the jr primary.
They danced to 'Give said the little stream." She was the grass.
At the dress rehearsal 2 days before she did terrible. She stood there with her had on her ears (she really doesn't like loud noises).
So we practiced and bribed her with a new Doc McStuffins toy and she did much better for the performance.

8 Months!
Can you believe this kid is 8 months old?
Time is flying by!

I told him we were going to cut his hair...not too excited.
His hair stands straight up and out.
Which is cute, but it was starting to get crazy.
I took almost 2 inches off the top and an inch off the sides.

Look at how handsome my dude looks.
It makes him look older, but needed to be done. :-)

I can't beielve June is over.
The summer has been great so far....
We are looking forward to seeing some family (both sides),
celebrating Great Papa Zobell's 90th Birthday,
Our 7th Anniversary,
Great Grandma Lindstorm's 80th Birthday and
 Lyla's 4th Birthday!
Busy month with lots of celebrations.
