April 2014

We had some nice couple of days so we got our double stroller out.
Both of the kids love it!

Easter
Friday night we decorated eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide.

Lyla loves decorating eggs!

Travis now wants to be apart of everything and grabs at anything close by.

Saturday morning we went across the street for an egg hunt.  Lyla didn't like waiting for it to start and she only got 2 eggs.  But it was fun.

This is where Travis sits while we stain our deck.
He likes watching us and will sit there for a while.

Lyla was excited to set the eggs out for the bunny to hide while she was sleeping.

She loved everything from the bunny.

Had to wake Travis up so he could see his stuff and get ready for Church.

Lyla loves her train.

My cute kids!

Lyla had her own egg hunt after Church. She didn't have to hurry and took her time.
I love her Easter dress.
It was great talking to Lyla about our Savior and all the things he has done for us.
She now talks about all of her Grandmas and Grandpas that she will get to see someday.
I am so grateful for my Savior and the Plan of Salvation.

Travis loves the grass and tummy time.
He now knows how to go from his tummy to his back and is so close going back.

I thought this picture was so cute!
I love their shadows!

Earlier in April my parents came to visit us.

Travis tried rice cereal and doesn't really care for it or any other baby food I have given him.
But he does like mashed POTATOES.
He must be from IDAHO!

Lyla loves to comb Papa Wards hair.

She also loves her sandbox. If only it would stop raining so she could play in it more.

Travis loves to attack Lyla. If she is within arms reach of him he is lunging after her.
She likes it for now...unless he goes for her toys.

Travis turned 6 months at the end of April...his stats
29 inches tall
19 pounds
The Dr. said to Trav, "It's a good thing you are so tall  Buddy or you'd be a chunk"

April went by too fast....

Highlights of December 2013-March 2014

December 2013

We had so much fun making candy houses. Lyla liked eating the candy as we built.

My Christmas kids!
Lyla loves holding Travis...I don't think he likes it as much.

Christmas Eve pj's.

Look was Santa brought Travis. Now mommy can take a shower! ;-)

Lyla received lots of fun things from Santa, but Mom got a new chair for her birthday! Lyla loves sitting in it.

January 2014

We went bowling. Lyla loved it! Her favorite part was the shoes!

Uncle Houston and Aunt Lindsay got married in December in the Washington DC Temple (Scott went), but the kids and I went to their beautiful Boise reception. Lyla LOVES her Aunt Lindsay.

In January I was given the go to work out again. There was NO WAY I was going to wake up early to get my walk in, (already waking up in the night and too early with Travis) so Lyla colored and Trav slept while I did a little walking.  Lyla likes to walk on the treadmill.

Tummy time! (3 months old)

February 2014

We do a count down the Valentine's Day and one of the days Lyla got to go on a date with Daddy.

Do you want to build a  snow man?
Lyla was excited for some snow on a Saturday so Daddy could help her.
(It melted a couple of hours later)

We also took a trip to visit Great Grandma Zobell's grave.
It was a neat experience talking to Lyla about how we will see her again.

We drove up to the ski resort by house house and pulled off to the side of the road to go sledding.
Lyla wasn't so sure at first, but loved it. She even went down by herself a few times.
The nice part about pulling off to the side of the road, was that Travis could stay in the nice warm car.

March 2014

The kids and I took a trip to Utah and drove down to Orem to visit with Great Papa Zobell.
Travis sat in Grandpa lap the whole time.

Cousin Molly turned 1!
I can't believe how big she is getting.

Swimming at Molly's party.
Lyla wanted to blow bubbles the whole time.
Travis loved the water.
I am excited to go swimming this summer.

Our Furgus brought us green things St Patrick's Day morning.

Travis got a new swing and he loves it!
He has already taken a couple of naps in it.

Lyla loves her swing set and is so ready for warm weather!

Well, that's a sum of the last couple of months.
Hopefully I don't fall behind anymore.

Thanksgiving Weekend and Travis' Blessing Day.

We had a great Thanksgiving with my parents, Aunt Meggie and cousin D.
I am so thankful for all of my blessing, for my family and for the Gospel.

I love my sister Meggie!
Sense Travis has been here she has seen him every week.

Thanksgiving morning we walked the Turkey Trot 5K.
It was kinda cold and poor Scott had to carry Lyla the whole time, but it was lots of fun.

Lyla loved the Turkey and was convinced that he was going to come to her house for dinner.

Us waiting inside before the race started.

Lyla eating her apple as her Dad carries her.
I can't wait for next year's race!

Friday night we went to the lighting of the square in Rupert.
Santa came riding in on a fire truck and turned all of the Christmas lights on.

Us in front of Santa's house waiting to visit him.

Lyla and Scott watching the fireworks!

Lyla told Santa she wanted playdough with scissors and squishies.
Then she thought he was going to give them to her right then.
I had to explain to her that she would have to wait until Christmas morning.

My AWESOME sister made us matching hats!

On Sunday, December 1st we blessed Travis.
It was such a great day!
So blessed to have the Priesthood in my home and to have so many
family members come to celebrate our little guy with us.

My cute little family!

Gry-a and Papa Ward with 3 or their 4 grandkids.
Just missing Molly and her parents.

My Boompa came up for the day.
We love Boompa so much!

Aunt Meggie, Uncle Andrew and cousin D.
So glad Andrew could hitch a ride from Scott's parents to make it.
Love this family!

Only really good picture Lyla took all day.
Glad the weather was nice so Gry-a and Papa Lindstrom could make it.

Great Gry-a Lindstrom and Travis.
So glad Grandma could spend the day with us,

Jill and Uncle Jason

Uncle Houston and Aunt Lindsay

My handsome Travis.
Travis was blessed in the same outfit that Scott was blessed in.
We added a white shirt underneath and he borrowed cousin D's white bow tie.

It was a great day!
I feel so blessed!
