Liking presents is one of the things Lyla got from me. Her pile of presents was huge!! Her eyes got so big when we went over to open them. She started crawling around the presents and pulling on them. She is so blessed to have such amazing Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles!! She got lots of cute cloths, a walker toy, a tent and a cute table and chairs.

Lyla's birthday party was so much fun! Aunt Jen, Uncle Tyler, Grandpa Ward, Grandpa Lindstrom, Uncle Jason, Daddy, Grandma Lindstrom and Grandma Ward were all there. We had a great lunch!! We had the party in the Lindstrom Grandparents backyard. The weather was perfect! The theme of the party was butterflies. I made a butterfly fruit platter. Lots of good food. Lyla had so much fun being the center of attention. She likes to look around and see every body watching her.

My Lyla is 1 years old!! On her Birthday we went to lunch with Daddy and had cupcakes and ice cream for dinner. She also got to open one present! A white puppy dog that walks and barks! She loves it!! She gives it kisses and loves.

Scott and I have been married for 4 years (tomorrow)! Man how the time has past quickly! It's crazy how much has changed... I finished Hair School, Scott finished at BYU, we moved to Moscow IDAHO, had Lyla (who is almost 1), and now we live in Boise while Scott finishes up his last year on Law School! I couldn't imagine my life with out Scott. He is such and great guy. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. I am so lucky to have him forever!!

I love the 4th of July! We spent the Holiday with my family in Utah. It's so nice to get in the car and only drive 5 hours instead of 12. :-) Lyla loves seeing her Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. We only got to see cousin D for a little bit, but she loves him the most. Lyla had lots of firsts this trip. She got to swim with Bella, ride a Merry-Go-Round, pet a pony and go to her first parade. She loved all of it, but I think her favorite might be Aunt Sara's HUGE box of gold fish. :-)

We had a fun Memorial Weekend with the Ward Family!!! It's crazy how big our family is now. Lyla loved seeing her Aunts and Uncles. She even loved seeing Grandma Nise and Grandpa. But she LOVED her cousin D the most!!! She would watch him run around. She would laugh when he was doing something funny or when he would tickle her. When we left she even gave him a hug. He went to hug her and she put her arms around his neck. It was so cute. We are so glad to have D as part of our family. It feels like he's been here all along.

Scott and I went on a little date to the Boise Penitentiary earlier this month. It was so cool. I know sounds like a weird place to have a date, but we are both into history so it was fun! It was neat to see the old buildings. It was raining which kinda added to the scary, spooky atmosphere.
