February 2015
Lyla loves to dress up in her Tinkerbell dress and dance around.
At least once a day she asks for a dance party.
Lyla came home from Boise with a Toad named Thomas which she changed to Hop.
I couldn't find a used cage to put him in and I didn't want to buy
a new one so I convinced her to let Hop go.
We picked a spot by some water where there was likely to be friends.
I love the faces this kid makes.
Love these two!
He was trying to keep up with her.
Our backyard is the best!!!!
San Francisco!
Scott surprised me at Christmas with this trip.
We drove up to Boise to drop the kids off with Scott's parents.
On the BART from Oakland to San Francisco.
Port of San Francisco!
There were so many beautiful tulips and flowers everywhere.
Sea Lions by Pier 39
China Town was busy and fun.
We took a little impromptu tour of a temple.
Also took a bus with TONS of people crammed in.
Cable Car Museum.
Church and a park in Little Italy.
We had really yummy pizza on Valentine's Day.
We took public transportation the whole time we were there. By the end of the trip we had people asking us how to get places. (Scott spent a lot of time looking at Google on his phone)
Sail Boats!
Pier 39 was so much fun. We walked around early in the morning when no one was there and then later when it was crazy with a million people.
Piano stairs at Pier 39.
Alcatraz
Our boat on the way to Alcatraz.
The view of San Francisco from Alcatraz.
Scott playing baseball on the recreation field.
So much history and stories of this Island.
We had so much fun.
We ate lots of yummy food on the pier.
The ice cream and chocolate was worth the hour wait.
Waiting to ride the cable car.
Our second ride on the cable car was crazy.
We stopped going up a hill and had to roll back.
I was super crazy and scary.
Golden Gate Bridge. We had fun going on a boat ride underneath the bridge on our first day and then walking on it a couple of days later.
Scott was super scared and wouldn't get near the edges.
We had checked out of our hotel in San Francisco and so we had to carry our bag around with us for a couple of hours until we could drop it off.
We looked kinda silly.
The trip was so much fun. We walked a TON!
We are starting to plan our next trip...
