December 2014
Both kids had so much fun decorating the tree.
We put candy canes on bottom part of the tree.
They had so much fun eating them all month long.
Trav would grabbed one and then I'd take it away and he's grab another one.
Kitty sleeping with Lyla.
This didn't last long because Lily gets crazy at night.
Lyla's Pre-School sang at the Festival of Trees.
Lyla was the first kid to walk out on stage.
She started out really excited and happy...
then got a little tired...
ended with her crying and standing behind the kids.
Miss. Brittni let her pass out the bells and that got her back on stage.
Overall it was really fun to see her sing.
Backyard time before it got super cold and snowy.
The kids visited with Santa a total of 5 times this month.
This is the first Santa we saw who has a little house in front of City Hall.
Lyla was a little shy.
She talked non stop until we got in to his house and then talked all the way back to the car.
Travis just wanted a candy cane.
Candy houses!
This is one of Lyla's favorite things to do.
She loves to go with her Dad and pick out all of the candy.
I love her concentration when she is working on a project.
Finished houses.
(Dad's, Lyla's and Mine)
Christmas Card picture that I never sent out.
Love these cute kids!
We love Christmas Lights!
We were afraid the rain would keep us away, but it stopped long
enough for us to walk around and see them.
Lyla loves to help me cook and bake.
We made sugar cookies and they were the best ones I've ever made. :-)
Cutting out the cookies.
Decorating the cookies.
Christmas Eve
Lyla helped me make breakfast casserole.
She kept wiping bacon in her hair.
Went for Chinese food for lunch.
Trav liked his fortune cookie, but was having a hard time staying awake.
Trav's Christmas present from Lyla in his new pj's.
Lyla's present from Travis in her new pj's (she picked out the gift).
Buddy helping Daddy make a fire.
Writing a note to Santa and leaving a plate of goodies for him, the deer and Santa Mouse.
Trav's Santa Pile. He loves his Pluto.
Lyla's Santa pile.
The kitty had so much fun playing she fell asleep while playing with this bag.
We hadn't had any snow yet and Lyla kept telling me that Santa was going to bring her snow for Christmas. I was happy to see the he did.
On our way outside to play I broke my camera...so these are taken with my iPod.
Both kids really liked the snow.
I am glad we didn't get much more that this the rest of winter.
Lyla got some legos from her Dad. She loves to put them together with him.
We went to Boise the day after Christmas.
Lyla and Papa Lindstrom made a snow woman with the snow that was left.
We had fun seeing the Lindstrom Grandparents, Uncle Jason, Aunt Jill, Uncle Houston and Aunt Lindsey. They are always so much fun!
New Year's Eve!!
We had balloons hanging for the ceiling that had different things for us to do each half and hour until bed time. Play candyland, hide-n-seek and other games. Lyla had fun helping me decorate!
Happy New Year's kiss!
